What are your hours of operation? When is last load?
Our self-service washaterias are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Any time is a great time to do a load of laundry! Plus, our customer service advisors are available at all times to answer any and all laundry-related questions.
What steps have Laundry-4U taken against COVID-19?
The safety of our customers and staff is our number one priority! Not only are we socially distant and masking up but we proactively disinfect throughout the day. Please refer to our facebook page for more details on how we are keeping you safe!
What do I do if I need assistance with my laundry/payment/etc.?
Fear not! Each of our 24-hour self-service washaterias have customer service advisors (or CSAs) available at all times to answer any questions you may have when it comes to getting your laundry done.
What kinds of things do your customer service advisors help with?
Our CSAs are a great resource for answering all your laundry-related questions, including the following:
- Which machine should I use and how do I use it?
- How do I pay?
- Where can I download your app? How do I use it?
- How much can I fit into the machines?
- What kind of soap should I use and how much?
- How does the rewards program work?
The CSAs are also on hand to make sure you feel comfortable, safe, and confident in the outcome of laundry day.
What forms of payment do your machines accept?
Our machines feature a unique, app-based system that allows you to not only view load status on your mobile device, it also makes payment incredibly easy and convenient—no need to bring bills or make change! Our customer service advisors are available 24/7 to help with any questions you have in regards to setting up an account through the app.
If you’re not into the smartphone thing, our machines also accept cash, and each washateria is equipped with a change machine and bill breaker—you never have to worry about having exact change on hand!
What kinds of machines are available at your washaterias? How large are they?
Our machines are all new, well maintained, and app-enabled to make laundry day so much easier. They come in a variety of sizes, and each washateria includes a good number of high-capacity washers to help you finish large loads faster (of course, we also have smaller and medium-sized machines for those times when our 100-pound machines seem like overkill). Our dryers are equally diverse, with some accepting up to 75-pound loads!
Do I need to call ahead of time to check machine availability?
You certainly can, although our app-based laundry system allows you to check machine availability on your mobile device before you even step through the door! In general, our locations are large and house enough machines to manage demand without customers having to wait very long (if at all).
Is parking available?
Yes! There’s ample free parking available at each of our locations. Bonus: Some locations even feature covered parking.

Wash and Fold Services
How do your Wash and Fold services work?
You bring in your laundry and we do the rest! Our professionals are highly qualified to ensure that your items come back to you in the cleanest state possible. When we’ve finished with your order, we’ll notify you via text message or email (whatever you prefer) so that you know when to come back and pick up your things.
How much do you charge for your Wash and Fold services? How much does an average Wash and Fold order cost?
Our customers are unique and so are their laundry needs! Because of this, it’s hard for us to say what’s “average” or to provide a straight-up cost here. To receive an estimate on your order, please contact our team.
What forms of payment do you accept?
For our Wash and Fold services, we accept cash and all major credit cards.
What is your turnaround time for Wash and Fold services?
In most cases, our laundry professionals will be able to get your pristine-clean garments back to you within a 24-hour period.
Do you offer same-day service?
In most cases, we can accommodate same-day requests for our Wash and Fold services. Please note that this comes with an additional charge. Contact your local washateria for a more accurate estimate on fees and availability.
Do I need to call ahead of time or make an appointment for Wash and Fold services?
Nope! Just come in and drop off your load. In most cases, our laundry professionals will be able to get your pristine-clean garments back to you within a 24-hour period. You can absolutely schedule a drop-off in advance, but keep in mind that the 24-hour turnaround time only begins after you’ve dropped off your items.
Do you wash irregular items like sleeping bags, quilts, comforters, dog beds, etc?
Yes, though there may be an extra charge for some items. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing in any irregular items so we can work out the details.
Do you offer dry cleaning services?
Not at this time.
Will you hang my clothes?
Folding is our default, but if you request it, we can hang your garments at an additional cost.
Do you treat stains?
Yes, but please alert us to any major stains in advance.
Do you separate whites from colors?
We separate loads as requested, so please let us know when you drop off your items what your preference is.
Will you wash and dry my clothes with those of other customers?
No. Each order is washed individually and not mixed with other orders.
What kinds of detergents and fabric softeners do you use? Are fragrance-free options available?
We always use premium products to ensure the best clean possible. Please let us know in advance if you have a fragrance allergy so we can make sure to process your laundry accordingly.
Will you wash clothes with special instructions?
We always strive to meet the unique needs of each of our customers. If you have any special requests with your laundry, please contact us ahead of time so we can find the best way to serve you.

How do I know if you serve my area?
During the sign-up process for our Pickup and Delivery services, our website’s platform will determine your eligibility for service based on your location.
On what days are Pickup and Delivery services available?
Our Pickup and Delivery services are available every day of the week. Some holidays may interfere with regular service.
Do you send reminders about pickup days?
Yes. When you sign up for service, you can schedule notifications in order to receive a text or email reminder on the day before pickup.
What is the status of my order?
Through our web-based platform, you can set up notifications in order to receive a text or email alert that your driver is en route for pickup. The platform also offers full updates on the status of your order—you can see what stage our laundry professionals are working on, from washing to drying to folding and more! Once your order has been fully processed, you can set up notifications in order to receive a text or email alert letting you know that your driver is back en route for delivery.
Do I have to be at home during pickup and delivery times?
Nope! Just let us know when you place your order that you consent to have your laundry picked up and dropped off at a specified location outside of your home.
How will I be billed?
We will charge the credit card that we have on file in your account for each time you receive a Pickup and Delivery service.
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards.
Is there a fee for Pickup and Delivery services?

In most cases, we will have your laundry back to you within a 24-hour period once it’s been picked up.

You will be charged once your clothing has been weighed and processed.
How much does an average Pickup and Delivery order cost?
Our customers are unique and so are their laundry needs! Because of this, it’s hard for us to say what registers as “average.” When you set up your first Pickup and Delivery service with us, you’ll be able to see the expected cost before finalizing your order.
Can you pick up and deliver my laundry to my place of work?
Yes. Please let us know in advance if we were picking up and delivering to an office space or other commercial center. We’ll want to make sure our team has clear instructions for where to meet you and where to drop your items back off.

How do I sign up for the rewards program? Is there a cost?
Washateria users are automatically signed up for our rewards program when they register an account through our app. Every time you use the app, you’ll earn the opportunity to receive rewards. Rewards are regularly updated alongside our promotions. Best yet—registration is absolutely free!
Do all your promotions require me to be a rewards program member?
Registering an account on our app is the best way to ensure you’re getting the most value out of your experience, but many of our promotions and events are open to all of our customers.
